Making Miami, group exhibit
Carlos Betancourt will present Totems for Perula II, 2023 a large outdoor sculpture consisting of inner tubes floaties and conceived during his artist residency and workshop in Mexico with the Careyes Foundation.
Making Miami is a group exhibit that explores artworks from artist with a long association to Miami and their impact in the surrounding art community and the contemporary art world in general. The exhibit, a love letter to Miami, was conceived and curated by Katerina Llanes and is also supported by a 300 pages book to be released during the exhibit. Artist in the exhibit include Carlos Betancourt, Jen Stark, Daniel Arsham, Christina Lei, Naomi Fisher, Friends With You, and Kenny Scharf amongst others.
